How to Modify a Quote via a Change Request

Follow this guide if you have a confirmed booking with an "Agreed" Quote but need to make changes to it. 


Step 1: Enter your Booking

Go to your "Reservation System" and enter the booking you want to edit.

NOTE: As the booking is already confirmed/agreed you cannot make any changes to the booking itself via the "Edit booking" button.


Step 2: Modify the Quote via a "Change Request"

Any changes at this stage would need to be requested/approved by the guest himself (i.e. via email), so to make changes to the date, property, number of guests or payment amount, go to the "Quote" Box, click onto the little "Pencil Icon" and select "Guest makes change request".


Step 3: Change the "Booking Details"

In the "Booking" tab you can update the date, amount of guests and property. Then click "Next".


Step 4: Change the "Price Details"

To make changes in the fees, taxes, add-ons or to add a special promotional discount you can do so in the "Price Details". To find out more learn How to Change the Price Details of a Booking.


Step 5: Save the "Change Request"

  • Once you have made all your changes, click "Next".

NOTE: You cannot make any changes in the "Policy" tab.

  • Click "Save".


Final Step: Accept the "Change Request"

  • The booking will now show a notification that you as an owner have received a change request "from the guest". Click "View".

  • "Accept" the change request.

  • Send an email confirmation to your guest that the changes have been made accordingly.

NOTE: Your "Quote" and "Transactions" have now been updated with the new "Total Booking Value" and the "Balance Due" has been adapted accordingly. 

The details of the previous quote can still be accessed by going into your "Archived Quotes".
