Edit a booking

You have a variety of different options to edit your bookings depending on the status of your booking and quote. 

  1. Go to Menu, and select Reservations.
  2. Select the booking that you want to edit.
  3. Click on the little pencil icon at the top and select how you want to edit your booking

Guest makes a change requestif you have a confirmed booking with an agreed quote but need to make changes to the booking details, price details or the applied policy.
Note: Once finished, the details of the previous quote can still be accessed by going into Other Quotes
Edit bookingif you have an unconfirmed booking and want to make changes to the booking details, price details or the applied policy
Add new Quoteif your guest hasn't accepted the existing quote and wants another one to compare.

Add / Edit noteif you want to put a note in your booking (e.g. a late arrival) or edit it.
Add / Edit sourceif you want to specify how you received this booking (e.g. via facebook), or edit it.
Edit guestif you want to make changes to the guest details.
Send a message to guestif you want to contact your guest outside of the automated email notifications. 
Send payment requestif your payments are not scheduled within Lodgify (e.g. Policy & Quote Workflow deactivated) and you want to request a payment manually from your guest.
Note: If your payments are scheduled but you want to request the payment anyways / again, see Request a payment.
Add payment manuallyif your payments are not accounted for in Lodgify (e.g. Policy & Quote Workflow deactivated) and you want to add a payment that you received.
Note: If your payments are scheduled but you have received a requested payment e.g. via bank transfer, see Mark amount as paid.

Note: Bookings imported from an external source only have limited editing options.
