Add quotes to a booking

A quote allows you to add prices, rental agreements and policies to a booking. When you add a quote, you give to your guests a complete and transparent overview of their booking. You can add several quotes to the same booking. This could be ideal when your guest wants to compare options, for example two different time periods. 

Note: our system automatically calculates the exact price based on your rates settings, however you have the freedom to adjust each quote that you create: you could for example offer a special discount or add an extra service.

Create a new booking with a quote

  1. Go to Menu and select Reservations, or click here
  2. On the left navigation panel, click the green button Create Booking and select Create Booking with Quote.


  3. A slide window appears to the right side of the screen: fill the fields Booking Detail and Guest and click Next. 
  4. On the following page, review the price details and add-ons and use the Edit button if you need to modify anything, then click Next
  5. Choose if you want to keep or deactivate the Policy Workflow, then click Save.  
  6. In the following page: 
    • If you want to send the quote to your guest via email, review it and click Send.
    • If you do not want to send them an email, click Hide.

The new booking now appears in your bookings list. If you want to add a new quote, click the pencil icon and select Add new Quote.   

Note: you can send multiple quotes to your guests via email. Once the guest decides their favourite one, it will automatically deactivate all the others.

Add a quote to an existing booking

If you have created a booking without a quote and you want to add it, follow the steps below.

  1. Go to Menu and select Reservations or click here
  2. Select the booking you want to add the quote to, and click Create Quote. 



  3. A slide window appears to the right side of the screen: fill the fields Booking Detail and Guest and click Next. 
  4. On the following page, review the price details and add-ons and use the Edit button if you need to modify anything, then click Next
  5. Choose if you want to activate the Policy Workflow, then click Save.  
  6. In the following page: 
    • If you want to send the quote to your guest via email, review it and click Send.
    • If you do not want to send them an email, click Hide

The booking now contains a quote. If you want to add a new one, click the pencil icon and select Add new Quote.

Select the primary quote of a booking

When a booking contains more than one quote, you should decide what is the primary one because that will block your calendar's availability.  

By default, the latest quote that you send to your guest becomes the primary one. To change the primary quote: 

  1. Go to Menu and select Reservations or click here
  2. Select the booking which primary quote should be changed. The primary quote shows the complete details of the booking while the secondary ones only show the Quote numbers.



  3. Select one of the Other Quotes. 
  4. A slide window appears to the right side of the screen. Click Set Quote as primary

Note: You may have sent to the guest emails containing different quotes. Once the guest decides their favourite one, it will automatically deactivate all the others.
