To add content such as videos, pictures, promotions, chat, Instagram galleries or contact forms to your website you can use widgets. These are containers that can be moved and resized, so you can tailor your page to your needs or you can create a library and reuse your widgets on different pages, i.e. pages of different languages. Have a look at our list of available and useful widgets you could implement on your website. If you want to create a new custom page, find out how it is done here.
Increase content and interesting information on your website through a blog.
By default, your homepage has a search bar installed which can be easily deleted. If you would like to install a search bar in any other place or page you can activate the search bar in the page settings for default pages or insert a search bar widget.
You can simply change the order of your website menu by using our drag-and-drop function. This also applies if you want to move an element to the footer or decide that a page should not be public. If you want to create drop-down menus or sub-pages you can do so by dropping one menu item into another one.
A footer is a section that appears at the bottom of every page of your website. You can add additional information or links in your footer section.
You can edit the settings of each page from your website to select the languages you want to offer this page in, change your page title or edit its meta description.
Some pages you might want to keep private and only send their access link to certain users once they have confirmed a booking. Other pages you might want to keep invisible while you are working on them and only move them to the main menu once they are complete.
If you have multiple properties and would like to point out a specific type of property on your website you can manually create a separate category. For example, you have some properties that you offer apart from short stays also for long-term stays and would like to have a separate category called Long term stays.
Widgets allow you to customize your website content through pictures, videos, text and many more. Lodgify has a list of standard widgets to edit your custom pages. Many external widgets can be implemented by inserting the respective HTML code into the Raw HTML Widget. In the following, you can find a list of useful widgets for your website.
Within your website, you have a selection of predefined pages populated with property information which you can decide to use or to delete. If you have deleted one of the default Lodgify pages on your website you can simply restore it following the steps below. You can also create new custom pages and subpages from scratch or create links to a different website.
